Altered Letter Project:

The H and Joy is made with chipboard but the wish one is wood. I have a wooden letter I'll probably bring to work on.
They need...
wood or chipboard letter (or word)
patterned paper (can use more than one sheet if wanted like the Joy sample)
mod podge or other decoupage medium
sand paper or sanding block (fine grit)
2 foam brushes (one for paint and one for glue)
paint (color coordinate with paper)
ink if wanted (Ranger's Distress Ink works really well for this)
gesso if using a wooden letter (this is to prime it)
pencil
scissors or craft knife
anything they want to embellish their letters with...ribbon, rub-ons, flowers, wire, etc
It would be good if they already had their letters primed and painted (wood). If they are using chipboard, then they can paint the edges of their chipboard before they come.

Thank you SO much for teaching that class. You made it seem easy. You are really talented. I am looking forward to decorating letters for my grandchildren.
I had a great time visiting, laughing and eating ice cream!
It was a fun night!!!
